"Day-O" by Harry Belafonte

Okay I'm taking a crack at this whole blog thing.

Anyway I've decided to name each post after a song. This one is "Day-O" by Harry Belafonte. If you don't recognize the name of the song, You'll know what I'm talking about by the end.

Last night my father and I were sitting around flipping channels and I decided to look at the previously recorded things on Tivo. As we browsed my dad spotted an episode of The Closer, a Law & Order-like show on TNT. I'm not a huge fan of the show but he wanted to see it, because he loves the show. When we turned on the episode it had apparently not changed channels so instead of TNT and The Closer, we had ABC Family and Beetlejuice.

The problem is that the Tivo believed it was filming a 1 hour episode of The Closer not the 2hr movie Beetlejuice. My dad and I sat there watching this movie knowing we wouldn't make it through to the end but hoping to see the dinner scene where the group of stuffy adults were possessed and made to sing and dance to "Day-O". Well to make a long story shorter, as that scene began the recording cut off so now I've become obsessed with that song I've watched the scene on YouTube in an Attempt to cure the obsession but nothing doing.

Anyway other things happening in my life...

I lost my job at Steak n Shake but I'm not too upset.They treated me like crap and I was overworked and underpaid. I put in an application at BK and I have an interview next monday after i get back from kids camp.

It's gonna be a busy week, Wednesday i leave for searcy with my dad and pick up my last pay check (not necessarily in that order.) i get back on Friday and immediately leave for Kid's camp at Neyati until Sunday. Then Monday I have the previously mentioned interview at 8:30 in the morning which is way to early.

Anyway, if you have made it through this post, i think you should know that the wasted minutes of your life are non-refundable so deal with it.
